Welcome to the new edition of the Scarbrough Journal. As we move into the third quarter of 2024, we take a look at how technological advancements are shaping the logistics industry. The industry is constantly evolving, with new supply chain risks appearing every day. It is our belief at Scarbrough that taking advantage of new technology platforms is critical to not only maintaining but expanding our services across the globe and continuing to add value for our customers. We are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our offerings and help streamline efficiency for our employees. I am a firm believer that if we can improve our employee experience and efficiency, that will directly translate to better service and customer satisfaction.

In this Journal, we explore some of our new technology partnerships and proprietary offerings. We’ll explain how our partners at Altana use AI-powered learning to proactively monitor our customers’ supply chains, allowing us to identify risk factors before they cause disruptions. We will also introduce you to Raft, our back-office partner that uses AI and machine learning to automate workflows, empowering our team to work more efficiently and process finances faster than ever before. Finally, we introduce you to two of our in-house transportation dashboards that allow our customers to manage all their shipment information in one convenient platform.
