Mexico

Mexico enjoyed a relatively successful year economically in 2024. The country continued a gradual rise back into the world’s top 15 economies and it continues to recover from previous political and financial turmoil. We saw continued interest from foreign countries into Mexico’s economy, in part due to newfound political and economic stability. Foreign Direct Investment and Nearshoring continued to be major factors in Mexico, in large part due to companies attempting to cut costs and avoid increased tariffs imposed by the U.S. government, especially on Chinese goods.
